Kidney Health NZ
OUR PURPOSE
Kidney Health NZ aims to:
- provide financial support for research projects directed toward the prevention, early detection and care of diseases of the kidney and urinary tract, especially in the child
- award scholarships and make grants of money and equipment
- reduce the severe shortage of kidneys and other organs for transplantation by further education and publicity campaigns
- support the extension of facilities for dialysis treatment at home rather than in hospital for those with end-stage renal failure
- support the network and activities of patient support groups
- educate members of the community to recognise the symptoms of kidney and related disease and illness, and to seek advice and treatment from qualified sources without delay
YOUR SUPPORT
The Kidney Health NZ relies on financial contributions from a concerned and generous public to provide the above services.
