Philosphy

I am passionate about childbearing and believe that every experience can be positive if the support and care is right for the woman and family recieving it. I believe that given the right care and support, the vast majority of women can give birth naturally, however we are lucky enough to have the technology to provide care when things are not quite normal.

In my clients I value a sense of humor and the motivation to be pro-active in their childbearing experience.

Services

• I am an independent midwife practicing on Auckland's North Shore from Takapuna to Helensville and the Hibiscus Coast.
• I work with a group of six positive and caring midwives. We are Albany Midwives Collective, situated in the old Albany Village (with the chickens!).
• I provide full LMC care.
• I do home births as well as births at Helensville and Warkworth Birthing Units and North Shore Hospital.
