• We believe women have a right to information that allows them to make choices regarding their care.
• Have access to Waitakere, North Shore, and Auckland Hospital.
• Holistic health care providers providing individualized care for their clients and acknowledge the use of complimentary therapies.
• Advocates for vaginal birth and work in partnership with women and their families.
• Work within the World Health Organization recommendations and are guided by the New Zealand College of Midwives Standards for Practice.
• Are reviewed by the New Zealand College of Midwives on a regular basis and this is a requirement of the Midwifery Council of New Zealand for midwives to retain their practicing certificate
• Cover women in the Central and West Auckland suburbs.

Irene Chain is a registered nurse, midwife and homeopath and holds a postgraduate certificate in Health Professional Education. She has been a practicing midwife for 28 years and has experience in working in Middle Eastern Countries.
