Friendly telephone support

Every Pregnancy Help branch advertises a telephone number which any woman who is pregnant or who as recently been pregnant can ring for a friendly listening ear. Partners, other family members, and friends are all welcome to contact Pregnancy Help.

Information

Pregnancy Help can provide or obtain information about a wide range of services available to pregnant woman and her family. eg. other support agencies, community groups and services, child safety, continuing education etc.

Equipment and clothing

• Pregnancy Help can provide; a range of maternity and baby clothing, equipment such as bassinets, baths, bedding and other baby items.
• Availability of items will vary from branch to branch.
• Donations for this service are gratefully welcomed.

Prompt and effective referral service

Pregnancy Help can help with medical or legal appointments; Income Support information, and specialised counselling.

Some branches may offer additional services

Each branch of Pregnancy Help may be contacted through the telephone directory.

Counselling

Some of our branches offer a Qualified Counselling Service.

Practical Assistance

• Our trained volunteers can offer support in various ways such as home help, maternity visits etc.
• This service varies from branch to branch.
• Contact your local branch for details of what is available in your area.

All of Pregnancy Help services are free.
