About Diabetes Youth NZ
Diabetes Youth NZ Inc is a voluntary society established to provide support for children with diabetes and their families. It belongs to the Diabetes New Zealand umbrella group.
Its members run a network of support groups from over a dozen centres in New Zealand.
Diabetes Youth NZ Inc:
- advocates on behalf of children and youth with diabetes
- provides educational publications for children, youth and their schools
- supports and sets standards for annual independent camps for children with diabetes, and
- supports awards for high-achieving youth with diabetes.
