Philosophy

I am happy to support women with the choices they make for their pregnancy and in childbirth, while providing safety for the family.  I am comfortable with women who choose drug free births, water births, epidurals or home birth.  The  ultimate goal is to have a happy and healthy mother and baby who had participated in the decisions surrounding the pregnancy, labour and birth and postnatal period.

Services

• I practice in West Auckland, delivering at Waitakere Maternity Unit and at home.
• I have been providing all aspects of maternity care in the community since 1996, initially as a KYM midwife at Waitakere Hospital and then as an Independent Midwife since 1998. 
• I work with three other midwives who share similar birthing philosophies and we provide each other with cover during weekends off and holidays.
