WHO ARE WE?
Gastric Reflux Support Network NZ (GRSNNZ) was established in 2001 as a registered not-for-profit organisation. GRSNNZ is the only organisation funded to provide reflux support to all NZ families. Our main points of contact are phone, message forum at www.everybody.co.nz and local support group meetings in many areas throughout NZ.
OUR GOALS
GRSNNZ purpose is to hand back confidence to parents and guardians and highlight the great work they do at home and give them skills to help cope with Infant Gastric Reflux Disease and the effects it has on their families and lives. Often these parents are about to face a medical system, and process they have little knowledge of, at a time when they are most vulnerable and stressed. Some have no idea which direction to take.
We believe that families living with Infant Gastric Reflux have the right to:

Support - our support parents are trained by Parent to Parent NZ.

Safe up to date Information - we have nurses amongst our support people, members and staff who provide input into documents etc, a Medical Advisor who keeps us up to date, input from various other health professionals, and have been given permission to use GRASP's articles and update them as needed. GRASP was the previous organisation operating before GRSNNZ and had well written accurate material.

HOW TO JOIN GRSNNZ
Become a member
Joining GRSNNZ is easy and free. You can access our membership form via our website or contact us for either a postal version or directions to this form. We publish a quarterly newsletter which is only available to members. Even if your child has now outgrown gastric reflux disease, families who have lived through this condition have valuable experience and knowledge, and you can be of help if you are eager to share these with families in need.
