Philosophy

My philosophy is happy Mum, happy Babe and I will do all that I can to achieve this. I love the midwifery model that New Zealand offers and the opportunity to provide continuity of care and really get to know your clients is so awesome. I have 3 children of my own and bring a wealth of knowledge to my practice, as well as a very empathetic and caring manner. I am passionate about midwifery and wish this to be your best birth experience possible.

Qualifications and experience

I am a registered midwife who trained in South Africa and qualified in 1990. I have worked extensively in midwifery since then and had a large private practice in South Africa prior to emigrating to New Zealand in January 2004. I have worked in New Zealand maternity hospitals since I arrived and am now doing independent practice.

Services

I work as a primary care midwife delivering from Papakura Maternity and Botany Maternity units. I would love the chance to chat to you and look after you during your pregnancy and birth.
